The Big Difference Between The Rich & The Poor based according to R.Kiyosaki
is about time, not money. Rich people used their spare time to think about, learn about and look for ways to make more money but poor people didn’t think about money once their work day ended. Instead, they used their spare time to “unwind” and spend their money only to start all over again on Monday morning.
Other reasons are:
Poor people play the money game to not lose while rich people play the money game to win. Poor people play the money game defensively rather than offensively.
Poor people want to be rich while rich people are committed to being rich. Poor people like to dream of winning the lottery or discovering they had a rich aunt that died and left them millions of dollars. Rich people know building wealth takes a commitment to doing the things necessary to make a rich life happen.
Poor people see obstacles and focus on the risks while rich people see opportunities and focus on rewards. Poor people believe risk should be avoided because they don’t want to lose money. Rich people understand it’s necessary to take on some risk if you want significant financial rewards. They take measured risks with their investments and in their business dealings when they believe the rewards are worth the risk
Poor people focus on what they don’t want while rich people focus on what they want. Poor people have more of a tendency to focus on what they lack. They’re more likely to make excuses. Rich people focus on what they want and try to find a way to achieve it. They’re not into making excuses or being bitter and unhappy about things they don’t have.
Poor people are not excellent promoters and run away from a challenge. Poor people don’t like to be challenged. They like to stay in their comfort zone and keep things the way they are. Rich people are not afraid to take on difficult challenges when they know there is potential for a nice payoff.
Poor people do back away from problems, do avoid problems, and do complain about problems while rich people learn from problems. They’re usually complaining about what’s going on in world events, their career, family life, and anything else they can find to complain about. Rich people know that negativity never accomplishes anything good. Keeping a positive attitude and hanging around positive people are essential to building a wealthy life.
Poor people work hard, but they believe that it is inappropriate for them to be well rewarded for their efforts and the value they provide, while rich people work hard and believe it’s perfectly appropriate to be well rewarded for their efforts and the value they provide for others.
Poor people don’t believe in themselves and that is why they need “guarantees. Rich people believe in themselves and they believe in their value and in their ability to deliver it.
Poor people either mismanage their money or they avoid the subject of money altogether. They avoid keeping track of their money or do a written budget. Rich people know how to manage their money well. In general, they keep a budget and don’t carry a lot of consumer debt.
Poor people work hard for their money while rich people have their money work hard for them. Rich people make it a point to find money in their budget to invest, and they do it on a regular basis.
Poor people let fear stop them and don’t want to face their fears while rich people know how to overcome it.
